Brett has been in the real estate business since graduating college in 1988 from University of California at Irvine, Cum Laude in Economics. Prior to UCI, Brett attended the United States Military Academy at Westpoint, New York. - U.S.M.A. and continues to be very patriotic with a love of his Country.
Throughout the years, Brett has maintained and sharpened his selling skills through many different classes and programs including Quantum Management Program for Real Estate, The Masters Series - Mastering the Art of Professional Marketing and Negotiating by Pendley and Assoc., Cartus Broker Network Certified Agent Advantage Specialist and Affinity Training, Five Star Certifications, CDPE - Certified Distressed Property Expert and SFR- Short Sale and Foreclosure Certifications, K.E.Y.S. for Success classes which were designed to give Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage agents the most up to date training in client protection, negotiation and other skills necessary to assist our agents in being the best in the business. Selling Probate and Estate properties requires a higher level of understanding the legal aspects and contracts. Brett has embraced this training and is a Certified Probate Real Estate Specialist (CPRES) and a member of US Probate Services.
In addition to the training noted, many of his Relocation clients required additional training, and Brett has worked with Cendant, Cartus, Realogy Companies, Paragon, The MI Group, Weichert Relocation, Sirva Relocation, Prudential Relocation, Pinnacle Relocation, and Altair, among others. Brett can assist with all types of Corporate RELO; including ERC, BMA, Broker Market Opinion and he is very familiar with the reporting necessary on Corporate RELO's. Brett has extensive experience with Relocation since 1993.
As an Branch Office Manager, Brett has hired and assisted scores of agents and ran one of the few profitable Real Estate offices during the downturn. He did this by focusing his training on the basics that are still very important today including Door Knocking, Financing, Client Contacts, Client Protection, Global Luxury Marketing, Networking, and Building on Core Principles (Fiscal Budgeting, Personal, Financial, Spriritual, Family, Health) that help better the person, not just as an agent.
As an Agent and Top Producer, Brett has helped many families with their real estate needs Selling, Buying, renting, and Commercial needs. Wealth Building through Real Estate is an important focus of Brett's process as it is important to look at Real Estate as the potential Retirement vehicle that it can be in addition to ones' stock and investment portfolio.
As a Team Leader running a successful Sales Team, Brett has helped build the skills of his team members into some of the best agents in the industry. Brett is very proud and happy that many have gone on to become very successful agents in their own business after leaving the team.
Brett has been a Successful Sales Agent with one company for over 28 years - over 32 total. His early years were with the Historic Prudential -Jon Douglas, which merged with Prudential California, and then sold to Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage. In an industry that sees a high degree of turnover of agents and closure of companies, there is a high degree of Stability that is involved with being with one company.
In addition to be an award winning Top Producer year in and year out, Brett served as Manager of the Irvine Branch of Coldwell Banker from 2008 to 2012.
Prior to becoming a Branch Manager in Irvine - Quail Hill Office, he also served as Assistant Manager/Sales Manager for over 10 years.
